Lance Pope

Another memory, this one on the first anniversary of Lance Pope's untimely demise. Lance was the creator and creative power behind Haunted Verdun Manor (and was keenly interested in werewolves). Next to him is a chango (transformation) animatronic built by Gregor Punchatz for Verdun. Lance is the one wearing a shirt.

We miss you, Lance, and know you've gone ahead to mark the trail for us.

Floating Werewolf Heads

Bet you wondered how we washed the fursuits. Well, here you go - both of our heads float in the same tub we use to clean our suits. We fill the tub with cold water, add rug shampoo, then drop in the suits and hand agitate.

Deer often wander through the yard; we were about fifteen feet away when we took this picture.

Edit: Well, up until we moved to a larger workshop actually down in the trees at the end of January 2004 ... there's a redwood that the two of us can't reach around together just outside the new shop.
